Near-Zero Carbon Emission Plant — Key Concepts
A Near-Zero Carbon Emission Plant (近零碳排放工厂) refers to a manufacturing facility that has reduced its net carbon dioxide (CO₂) and other greenhouse gas emissions to an extremely low level — approaching, but not necessarily absolute, zero — through a combination of energy efficiency, renewable energy adoption, electrification, carbon capture, and verified carbon offsetting.
